Private to all Prefects (including the Head Boy and Girl).
I'm not sure we're supposed to mention it in an open forum, so I've warded this just to be safe. Does anyone have any update on the Abercrombie siblings? Such as why exactly they've gone missing. At this point, what does it look like? Have they left at their own free will?
Private to Self.
Colin,
They brought the Inquisitorial Squad back. I mean, I was made Prefect in Hermione Granger's place, but. I have a strong feeling that any safety that the position brought to me perks that come with wearing the badge will be taken away quite rapidly and put into the hands of the Slytherins IS members.
Also, strange things have been happening around the castle. The Abercrombie siblings have gone missing. Just... missing. They're not on the grounds anywhere. And it seems that your little ex-clique/club might be on the rise. This is not a safe forum.

ATTENTION CHARMS CLUB MEMBERS:
This next meeting we'll be working on casting Cheering Charms on one another. Please read up on the charm and remember the incantation; it's located in chapter 10 of the basic level Charms textbook. If you are no longer in possession of the textbook, please consult either myself, Professor Flitwick, or the reference copy in the library before Friday evening.
Also, if any of you have any suggestions for upcoming meetings, I'm all ears, as always! Additionally, anyone is welcome to any meetings they are interested in. I'm sure a lot of people are interested in getting cheered up, especially. The more, the merrier!
Private to Lavender.
As you may have guessed, you were the inspiration for this idea. So cheers! Hopefully it's a success.
I know you don't generally come to Charms Club, and you probably have better things to do with your Friday evening, but... I think we could all use a bit of cheering up? Even if none of us really think we should rely on magic to change the world.

Colin,
Someday I'll go back and mark these as being private to you. I would just feel really silly writing 'Private to Colin' right now. I just know that you'd want to know all about what's been going on in the school while you were gone... of course, I can't tell you everything. I don't even think these journals could be completely safe, so there's no way I can be totally candid.
But reminders, reminders of all the things I want to tell you the moment the war is over and you can come home.
The school isn't the same without you. Though that might be a really ridiculous thing to say, given the new state of things. Defense Against the Dark Arts is intense. We're practicing Cruciatus on small animals. I know you wouldn't. That's what I admire so much about you; you wouldn't do it. Neville Longbottom wouldn't do it, so the Carrows punished him. Used it against him. I know you still wouldn't do it, though, even if you knew that.
I used a small frog I found out by the lake. Colin, it was absolutely horrible. But I couldn't... you'll forgive that, though, someday, when we meet up and I can tell you everything. I know you will.
I don't know. It's so dark here. It seems like the one thing I'm not afraid to do is admit I'm afraid.
It seems the castle has become a place of regular vandalism. It's all reminding me of that George Orwell quote, "In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act."
